The Mission of "A Call for a Revolution" is to aid in the spiritual battle of good and evil. There is a lot of evil in the world. Pope John Paul II calls it the "culture of death" for a reason. It is so easy to be overcome by this culture and to forget why we are here and what we are called to do.
Everything that is written on this blog has to do with Christ and what he did for all of humanity. He is the model of forgiveness and of love. The common thread through all the posts is Christ's love for us, our call to love God back, and to love our brothers and sisters in need. The definition of charity (love) is "the theological virtue by which we love God above all things for his own sake, and our neighbor as ourselves for the love of God" (CCC 1822).
As Christians we have been called to love as Christ has loved us. It is not easy to do and what makes it even harder is that this culture along with Satan want us to fail miserably. I post on this blog just as a small aid in this battle. The thing that I care about is that we all will encounter the love that God has for each of us, and because of that great love we are inspired to go out and love in a world where love is rarely found and even despised at times.
My brothers and sister the mission is simple, but not easy at all. This blog says nothing that cannot be found in Scripture, but may only be said in a different way, hopefully a way that will inspire you to live a life of virtue and of love. I hope you find something that will help on this blog, but I encourage you to pray daily, read Scripture often and love always.
Trust only in God and great love will follow. "I am the way, I am the truth, and I am the life" (Jn 14:6).
